Longtime commenter Michael Carey again alleged that crimes against people with disabilities at a Delaware Avenue facility are being covered up and demanded the police chief's dismissal and a federal civil rights investigation.

Bethlehem just ordered the Albany Center for Independent Living shut down, saying the building is unsafe to occupy. If you or someone you know relies on that facility for services, expect disruptions to care and access while the closure is sorted out.

The town's consultant reported progress on a redesigned newsletter, revived social media, and a proposed new logo based on the Four Corners clock. Board members asked for a paper-newsletter opt-out and suggested keeping existing department sub-logos. No vote yet on the logo.
